Included in the update

Frontier’s 1.0.5 notes describe improved loading stability for Franchise zoos, including new and flat-terrain zoos. The update adds an edge-scrolling option under keyboard and mouse settings and addresses settings that did not persist after restarting.

The developer also reports changes to animal availability and sex balance in Franchise mode, a longer connection login window, and a fix for Zoopedia incorrectly treating some owned DLC animals as inaccessible.

What remains open

Frontier still lists animal movement, habitat escapes, boxing behaviour and Franchise stability as areas for further work. A patch note describing a fix is not evidence that every affected computer or save is now problem-free.

Players encountering a remaining issue should record their game version, mode and reproduction steps for support. This is a summary of the developer’s notes; GameInfo has not independently benchmarked the patch or verified recovery of affected saves.
