Every WARDOGS account opens with $10,000 in cash that persists between matches. You do not need to grind to afford a basic kit — you need to not waste the fund on the wrong first purchase. The verified price list gives us a clean ladder from free to flagship.
Free and cheap combinations versus per-life cost
A “per-life cost” is what one deployment burns. Die, and that gear is gone; the cash behind it stays. Here is how the early kits stack up using only verified tags.

The jump from the ~$675 Rifleman Starter to the $25,000 Dune Buggy is where most new players either save patiently or blow their fund. There is no verified gear between $7,500 and $25,000, so your goal posts are clear.
What to buy first, in order
- Binoculars (~$75) — the cheapest force multiplier, and scouting earns the team marks.
- T-21 rifle ($600) — a modest step up from the free Bushmaster once you have spare cash.
- Large Hammer ($2,400) — only if you enjoy building; it also unlocks mortar support with FOB supplies.
- Hold for the Dune Buggy ($25,000) at Driving 8 rather than spending on the GGX17 pistol.
- Skip the GGX17 pistol ($5,000) — the brief explicitly calls it not worth buying first.
What to skip entirely at the start
- The GGX17 pistol: $5,000 for a sidearm the brief rates as a poor first buy.
- The 6–10x scopes at $40,000 and $45,000: priciest non-vehicle gear, easy to leave un-bought.
- The FOB at $7,500 on life one: it tripled from its old $2,500 price, so timing your build matters.
- The Artillery Tank at $500,000: also gated behind career level 90 — a trophy, not a plan.
Using the discount window
Players below level 9 get a store discount, per the single-source brief. That makes your first real purchases the ones to time: buy the gear you will actually run before you cross level 9, because the discount closes with the level. The free Bushmaster plus Binoculars keeps you fighting while you wait for the discount to matter.
Clean-play note
The 12 September 2026 BULKHEAD policy makes cash-bug abuse and organised XP farming punishable. None of this loadout plan relies on a bug; earning the cash through marks, revives, and supply runs is the only safe route to the $35,000 vehicle tier.
Why per-life cost beats sticker price
The instinct is to look at the $500,000 Artillery Tank and feel poor. The useful number is not the sticker — it is the per-life cost, because death resets the gear you bought for that life while your cash bankroll stays. A $35,000 vehicle is one life’s spend; the free Bushmaster plus Binoculars is a rounding error. Measuring kits by per-life cost keeps you honest about how many deaths your bankroll survives, and it is why the early game is about cheap, repeatable kits rather than one heroic purchase.
Test the kit before you buy it
Before you commit cash to a vehicle, the free firing range opens the full arsenal — every weapon, attachment, and aircraft — at no risk and no spend. Spend a few minutes driving the Dune Buggy there before you sink $25,000 into one at Driving 8. The brief confirms the range opens the full set, so the only thing you lose by practising first is the surprise of not knowing the vehicle when a real match depends on it.
